This simple concrete slab bridge crosses over Phinny Drive on the north side of Fort Dodge.
The bridge was built in 1915 as a two span concrete slab. It sits next to the Des Moines River Bridge.
A common design, the concrete art deco was primary built in the 1910s to the 1940s.
Painted a bright yellow and orange color, the bridge is a gate into Phinny Park.
Currently, the bridge remains active as part of the Canadian National mainline.
